Publicación Acceso abierto El aprendizaje organizacional en el contexto de la industria 4.0(2021-08) Galindo Rodríguez, Oscar AndrésMediante un scoping review o revisión sistemática exploratoria en la base de datos Scopus, se realiza una búsqueda con los términos aprendizaje organizacional e industria 4.0, para realizar una síntesis de la literatura académica del aprendizaje organizacional en el contexto de la industria 4.0, un tema relevante para las organizaciones en las nuevas dinámicas empresariales y del mercado. Este capítulo inicia con la definición del concepto de aprendizaje organizacional y se destacan algunos aspectos clave. Igualmente, se define el concepto de la industria 4.0 y se presenta su relación con la digitalización y la transformación digital, conceptos que también son definidos, finalmente, se generan algunos puntos de encuentro entre el aprendizaje organizacional y su relación con la industria 4.0. Como se pretende hacer un aporte desde la academia a los líderes y directivos de las organizaciones, se indican doce dimensiones del aprendizaje organizacional que se considera como un proceso dinámico, multinivel y un constructo multidimensional. Specifically, it aims to answer the following question: How have MNEs in Colombia contributed to the creation of job inequalities for men and women in the country? The case study methodology was used to address this question using secondary sources such as databases and reports available on the internet. The results show that FDI in emerging countries has unforeseen outcomes that affect the economies and well-being of their populations due to the lack of assimilative capacities of local governments, poor regulations and weak infrastructures for democratization of opportunities and resources, which increases gender inequalities.Publicación Acceso abierto International Business Studies and Distance(2021-08) Gomez-Trujillo, Ana MaríaWhen managers decide to internationalize their companies, they face the challenge of selecting the appropriate market to sell their products and services. In this scenario, the concept of geographical, cultural, economic and administrative distance between home and host countries is a key factor to analyze. This bibliometric analysis aims to revise the available literature on the role of distance in international business. Findings from a bibliometric analysis of 315 papers explain the applications and limitations of each type of distance (cultural, administrative, geographic and economic). This study reveals that the concept adapts to the societies and authors who study it as well as the context in which it exists. Additionally, it may have a positive or negative impact on businesses’ and industries’ strategic decisions at various levels. These findings have different implications for scholars and practitioners since the different dimensions of distance should be analyzed in several contexts that result in different performance outcomes in international business.Publicación Acceso abierto Protocolo de familia para la empresa RRP Arquitectos(2021-08) Rico Castillo, Jorge Enrique; Jorge Enrique, Ángel RodrigoThe purpose of this work is to design the family protocol for the company RRP Arquitectos SAS as an instrument to transcend the implicit agreements between the partners of the organization to binding agreements in function of an eventual succession process. The methodology used is descriptive, proactive under the TEAM FOCUS consulting case study approach, through which the analysis of the environment, strategy, structure and culture was carried out, in order to evaluate the state of governance required for a company protocol. The results are the conceptual structuring of a governance model that frames the current situation of the relations between family and company; as well as the elements of a family protocol that addresses the needs of RRP Arquitectos SAS. Para la presentación de este trabajo, se ha realizado una revisión de literatura basada en artículos de revistas indexadas en la base de datos del índice de citaciones Web of Science (WOS), sobre las variables de estudio y las relaciones que han sido identificadas previamente entre ellas. En este análisis se encuentra que la compensación laboral influye en el desarrollo de diferentes tipos de culturas organizacionales y que la cultura es uno de los componentes clave para conformar organizaciones híbridas, sin embargo, no se ha encontrado evidencia que explique la forma en que la activación de compensación y las estrategias de compensación total influyen en la cultura de este tipo de organizaciones. Años 2020-2021(2021-08) David Tenorio, Luis EnriqueLa pandemia mundial ocasionada por el virus COVID-19, llevó a la toma de decisiones extremas por parte de los gobiernos mundiales, como el confinamiento, y ocasionó la desaceleración del aparato productivo afectando a empresas de distintos sectores económicos y tamaños. De lo anterior no estuvieron exentas las microempresas, que en el caso de la economía colombiana, son un gran dinamizador. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo identificar las diferentes acciones tomadas por este tipo de empresa para adaptarse a los cambios ocurridos en el mercado como consecuencia de las decisiones gubernamentales. Se tomó una muestra de 112 microempresas del Valle del Cauca y como instrumento de recolección de la información se desarrolló una encuesta enfocada a identificar las acciones tomadas en aspectos como la innovación, el teletrabajo o la financiación, la investigación empleó una metodología cuantitativa a través de un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que el 71 % de las microempresas participantes en la investigación presentan inconvenientes en el acceso a la financiación, lo que genera que aspectos como la innovación, que son fundamentales para la supervivencia y adaptación al mercado, no sean desarrollados de la forma adecuada.Publicación Acceso abierto Social Welfare: A Critical Essay Of Four Different Perspectives(2021-08) Gómez Trujillo, Ana MaríaThis research is an interpretation of social welfare from the perspectives of four influential authors (Adam Smith, Jeremy Bentham, Karl Marx, and Amartya Sen). The study presents the four authors’ perspectives by using comparative qualitative data and identifying each author’s context, their concept of social welfare, the role of government in it, and the limitations of their definitions. Although there is no agreement on the authors’ arguments, it can be concluded that they all contribute to the development of the concept of social welfare.
